About the authors:

S. TOURJEE is the author of Sam Says, Sam, published by Spuyten Duyvil in October 2018, as well as two chapbooks: Ghost (2013) and When Tongue Was Muscle (2016), both published by Anomalous Press. They write in a hybrid form of prose and poetry and collaborate frequently with many different artists and organizations. In 2014, Ghost was adapted for ballet by the Berkshire Choreography Project. S. holds an MFA from Brown University, and was a 2015-2016 Artist-in-Residence at Joshua Tree National Park. From 2013-2017, they were co-director of Frequency Writers, a writing community and school located in Providence.

Tess BROWN-LAVOIE writes and farms in Providence, RI. Lite Year, her first book, won the Fence Modern Poets Series prize. Tess cofounded Sidewalk Ends Farm with her sisters in 2011, works on land access at Land For Good, and is President of the National Young Farmers Coalition.
