Nova Storia: A Guided Literary Meditation

Nova Storia: A Guided Literary Meditation is a free and public meditation on May 11th from 11-12pm at Twenty Stories Bookstore.

Tickets (Free) Here: https://bit.ly/307rqIG

Every day, every moment is a new story. Guided by local yoga and meditation instructor, Lauren Fiske, participants are invited to take part in a guided meditation and a group expressive arts activity with the aim of connecting with internal and external resources, wisdom, compassion, and creativity. Together, we will create a ‘new story’ and explore how mindfulness and expressive arts can help support mental wellness and shatter the stigma around mental health.

This event is free and limited to 30 participants. First come, first serve. We ask participants to bring one sentence from their favorite poem or literary work to share with the group. Inspired lines of poetry will be provided to anyone who needs one. If you have a meditation cushion, you are welcome to bring that as well.

Donations will be collected at the door for the local non-profit, PeaceLove, which delivers expressive arts experiences to communities in need. Let's celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with community! We hope to see you there!
